Blister packaging is a type of packaging produced by heating a sheet of plastic and moulding it into a shape, to form a bubble or pocket. The ‘blister’ completely covers the product. A traditional blister pack is known as a face seal blister and has a cardboard back. Usually most blisters are transparent in nature. Some blisters are three side folded and allow cardboard back to be easily inserted. Some blisters are sealed on the cardboard back with the help of heat applied on the sides of the unit. Blister are an ideal form of packaging for display of product at retail counter and full protection during shelf-life, transport and logistics. Best quality materials such as PET, PVC are used.
